Evaluations: Evaluations are scheduled for March 6th with a rainout/snow date of March 13th at Fletcher Park. Times will be noted on the information line (684-1488) and on our website. www.fletcheryouthsports.com All leagues will participate in evaluations except the T-Ball and Pee-Wee leagues. These league’s teams will be randomly placed together and the coaches will call with all of your information. **If you know of anyone that is interested in coaching or being an umpire, please ask them to contact us.

Pictures: Team pictures will be taken on Saturday, April 17th. Those that have games that day will come approximately 1 hour early for their pictures and those that do not have a scheduled game will have an assigned time. All information with times and packages will be sent out by the coaches.

Practice & Games: Practice will begin starting March 15th. Coaches will be in touch the week after evaluations with the information concerning your scheduled practices and your team information. Opening Day with the first scheduled games will be on April 12th. Teams will have 1-2 games per week. End of season tournaments and All-Star games will be to follow regular season in June. There will also be a Fun Day scheduled at the end of the season for all players and there families. This will be a day of food, fun, and trophies. The date and any other information will be announced closer to time.

Cancellations/Rain-Outs: Any game cancellations will be announced on the info line 684-1488, and also on the website as quickly as they are determined. Due to how the weather changes quickly, please be patient while waiting for a decision. Fletcher City Parks and Rec. assist in the cancellation decision and so we sometimes are at their “mercy”. The goal is to not ruin the fields by playing on them when too wet. Coaches will call players with the dates for make up games and it will be on the info line as well.

Fundraising: We will have several available fundraisers for this season. We will be offering items with our logo: water bottles, golf size umbrellas, seat cushions, and t-shirts. We will also be selling discount cards for local businesses. These will be given out at the first practice. So be thinking of whom you can sell to and raise money for our organization. The money will go to buying uniforms, balls and equipment as needed. It will also go to paying the rent on the fields from Fletcher city and also pay the umpires. Please note that we are a totally non-profit league and all coaches, commissioners, and board members are volunteers.
