Check info/cancellation line for changes to schedule due to weather - 684-1488
Evaluation Date Information
We are going to attempt to have evals on Monday and Tuesday night, March 15 and 16th. IF those get rained out then we will reschedule to Thursday and Friday, and then to Saturday if needed. If all of the above get rained out, then the coaches will meet on Saturday to do a lottery drawing with the names. This will be the most fair way to distribute the players so we can get the season started. The following is the schedule for evals:
March 15th
Monday night (rainout date of Thurs.): arrive @ 530 or soon after
Girls softball 7-10yr old (softball field)
Minor League 9-10yr old (minor lg. field)
Pony League 13-14yr old (senior field)
March 16th
Tuesday night (rainout date of Friday): arrive @ 530 or soon after
Girls softball 11-15yr old (softball field)
Little League 11-12yr old (little lg. field)
Senior League 15-18yr old (senior field)
IF all of the above get rained out then the first session will be at 10am on Saturday and the 2nd session at 1p on Saturday.
It is very important that all the kids come to evals. This allows the coaches to most fairly choose the teams. Any kids not at evals will be placed in a lottery drawing.
Please note that all schedules (practice or games) can change quickly depending on the weather. It is very important to call the info/cancellation line if there is any question with the weather. Also note that the # changed from last year. The new number is 684-1488. I have been having trouble with it not accepting messages from callers and I apologize. I have called and Att&t is supposed to be working on it.
The fields unfortunately are thoroughly saturated from all the snow this season and now they are calling for it to rain for almost a week. We were planning on starting the practice season on March 15th with evals on March 13th. The eval date has to be changed due to the weather affecting school and the end of the Henderson County Rec Basketball season. We feel that it would be unfair to ask any child to have to choose between the 2 sports and they should have the chance to finish out the basketball season. I realize that not everyone is affected by this and may not agree. Many of you, including myself, is ready to get started. But we will just have to be patient. Obviously we cannot control the weather.
IF you know of anyone that still would like to register, please do so online ASAP for counting purposes. We will also have registration forms available at evaluations.

We have teams for boys ages 5-18 and girls 5-15.

Submit your registration form on our site and then either mail in a check or pay by debit/credit card. If mailing a payment, please include a printout of your registration form or a note with child's name and birthdate to make sure that the payment gets matched with the correct child. There is no late registration fee but please sign up as soon as possible for planning purposes. If payment is a problem and you need to wait for tax refunds then please sign up and put this info in the comment section and someone will be in touch to confirm.
Registration fees are $75 for Fletcher residents and $80 for non-Fletcher residents.
If you choose to register online with a credit card there is a $5 service charge.
We will be offering the following leagues this season
T--Ball - boys/girls age 5-6 Pee-Wee - boys age 7-8
Minor League - boys age 9-10 Little League - boys 11-12
Pony League - boys 13-14 Senior League - boys 15-18
The above age groups are tentative on having enough older boys to register and play in the older age groups.
Softball - girls age 7-15 (depending on total amount of girls, this will be divided into 2 or 3 age groups)
If you register online you will still need to present a birth certificate on the
day of evaluations!
